Recently, the IDC, a well - known statistical service, has officially released its report on the global market for first quarter of 2019, in terms of Wearables.
ΣAccording to statistics, in the global market, Xiaomi recorded a market share of 10,7%.
According to the report, in Q1 2019, Xiaomi sold 5,3 million units, ranking first with an increase of 43,6%. Apple, on the other hand, sold 4,6 million units, representing an increase of 14,8% year on year.
Huawei then sold 3,9 million units to rank third on the list, showing a staggering 213% year-on-year increase. Fitbit and Samsung sold 2,9 million and 2 million units, respectively, to rank fourth and fifth respectively.
This is not the first time Xiaomi has overturned Apple's dominance in the Wearables device market. In the third quarter of 2018, Xiaomi was again at the top of sales, and the Mi Band 3 played a significant role in this result.
With Xiaomi preparing to unveil the Mi Band 4, Apple will have to work hard if it wants to reach the top again.
