Beyond presentation of its new top smartphones, Huawei has introduced from Paris its new addition in the field of smart watches.

The name of the new smartwatch is inspired by the Grand Tourers, luxury performance cars, made for long journeys at high speeds. Inside the watch is an innovative dual chipset and smart power management architecture that takes care of switching between performance mode and power saving depending on the user's activities, for maximum battery life.
According to the manufacturer, the Huawei Watch GT Active "lasts" up to two weeks with normal use, which may include: all-day use with heart rate activated, sleep tracking active at night, message alerts and 90 minutes of exercise per week. Without recording the exercise and with a more conservative scenario, the Watch GT Active can remain uncharged for up to 30 days.
Compared to its predecessor, which supports a range of indoor or outdoor activities, the new Watch GT Active also features Triathlon. The three types of training that are supported are swimming, cycling and running. The smartwatch can record and time the entire Triathlon as well as the time of alternation between sports.
A special reference point is the support of 24-hour heart monitoring either during activity or at rest, through the Huawei TruSeen 3.0 function. Combining PPG optical sensor and AI algorithms, the smartwatch can monitor the user's heartbeat, in real time and with high accuracy. In Sport mode, the Watch GT Active has the ability to inform the user about the intensity of the training based on the heart rate goal set by him. In rest mode the watch also automatically monitors and records the user's pulses in this state.
In addition, TruSleep 2.0 takes care of the accurate recording of sleep and its quality, recognizing the basic disorders. In addition, it offers over 200 tips and tricks to improve sleep quality as well as personalized services combining real-time heart rate, respiration and data analysis to better manage your fitness and quality of life in general.
The colors of the Active version are orange and dark green while the price of the Huawei Watch GT Active will be at 249 euros.
