H LG, as and other major smartphone manufacturers (see Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi), prepare, as most of us know, for 5G, but it seems that they have their gaze even further reaching even…6G.
ΑThis is at least supported by the Korean company, which notes that it already has one specialized research center for 6G in Yuseong District in Daejeon City, South Korea.
Obviously, LG is not developing a 6G-enabled phone at this stage, as it is too early for that, but in collaboration with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, wants to "Prepare for the future industry", estimating that they will be needed about ten years to make the transition from 5G to 6G.
