Πa few days ago we saw her Apple to consider bent iPad Pro as normal since this does not affect their operation, and we had an announcement about the allowable bending limits created during the assembly process.
It should be noted that following reports from iPad Pro (2018) users that they received them with their chassis bent from the factory, Apple informed The Verge page that some iPad Pro (2018) may be slightly bent in their aluminum chassis, something that is a failure in its construction and is not going to get worse over time but neither does it affect its operation.
A first response came from Apple, namely Dan Riccio, Vice President of Hardware Engineering at the company, who stated that the design of the iPad Pro "meets or exceeds" all standards of quality and accuracy of Apple. He further stated that the iPad Pro can be bent up to 400 microns, a number that corresponds to half a millimeter, and is smaller than previous iPad Pro.
He further added that the fact that the iPad Pro is bent is not going to make it worse over time, nor does it affect its operation, while announcing that Apple will be officially announced in an announcement about this event. The iPad Pro chassis bends when the metal and plastic parts of the device are cooled during the assembly process.
