A new study speaks of false data from Apple, for the autonomy of iPhones. In some cases the difference in Apple data with reality reaches even more than 50%.
Τthe British Media "Which?”Conducted battery life tests on 9 different iPhone models. The results showed that everything differed significantly from the data released by Apple and the differences ranged between 18% and 51%.
The iPhone XR had the worst difference, as Apple claims that the phone can hold up to 25 hours of talk time on a full charge. Which? found in its tests that it lasts 16 hours and 23 minutes, which is 51% different from what Apple says.
Apple responded to Business Insider: "We thoroughly test our products and support the original claims for autonomy. The hardware works closely with the software so that the iPhone can intelligently manage power, maximizing autonomy."
According to Which tests, many devices do not have the same results as their companies, but the differences are much smaller. In fact, some, such as Sony, report shorter times than those found in test results.
