A few weeks ago Huawei announced the P30, and P30 Pro. However, although the company introduced a lot of new products, it did not mention the Huawei P30 Lite at all, making us wonder what happened to the device.
Αand the Huawei P30 Lite had appeared on retail websites, Huawei kept quiet until today it decided to officially announce the smartphone.
Huawei has issued a press release confirming the existence of the device, as well as its features. In essence, the press release simply confirms what has been leaked so far, once again giving credit to our beloved leakers.
The Huawei P30 Lite has a Kirin 710 processor and will be released in two versions with 4GB or 6GB RAM, and 128GB expandable internal storage. Also, the smartphone has a 6,15 inch Full HD screen (2.321 x 1.080) with waterdrop notch, which houses the 32MP selfie camera, which is the same as the more expensive models in the series.
On the back it has three cameras, the main one being 24MP with f / 1.8 aperture, an ultra-wide lens with f / 2.4 at 8MP, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The battery of the Huawei P30 Lite is 3.340mAh and has a fast charging capacity of 18W via a USB type-C port. It also has a fingerprint sensor and supports GPU Turbo 2.0.
At the moment the company has not announced the price for Europe, but the 4GB + 128GB version of the Huawei P30 Lite costs around € 330 in the official South African store. Finally, it is available in 3 colors, White, Peacock Blue and Midnight Black.
