This version is called Huawei Mate Xs and it appears that no design changes will be made compared to the first model. The main difference, however, will be the placement of the Kirin 990 5G processor which has a built-in 5G modem, as opposed to the Kirin 980 which uses a separate modem for connecting to 5G networks. In addition, the Kirin 990 comes with a more powerful AI processor and the Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at a higher frequency.
