Earlier today, a Twitter user who is in Barcelona for MWC 2019, posted the photo of a poster that clearly shows Huawei's new foldable smartphone.
ΠA few days ago at the Unpacked event held by Samsung, it presented its new foldable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Also, Huawei had teaser its own foldable phone, which we expect to present at MWC 2019.
The poster reveals a lot about the device. Initially, it shows the phone fully open, completely closed, and in intermediate state. The poster also confirms the name of the device, which is none other than the Huawei Mate X. The last element contained in the poster is the slogan used by Huawei for this particular smartphone "World's first foldable 5G phone".
The design of the Huawei Mate X is quite different from that of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The Samsung foldable phone has the main internal display, and an external one that can be used when the device is folded. On the other hand, the Huawei Mate X has a single screen that folds out of the phone, and when the device is closed we can use a specific part of the screen.
The design of the Huawei Mate X is certainly very interesting, but knowing Huawei well, the company definitely has an ace hidden in its sleeve. Patience until tomorrow, Sunday, February 24, when the company will reveal everything about the new devices.
