Huawei: Denies that it stops producing smartphones

Responding to rumors and posts in recent days that wanted to put a brake on smartphone production due to US bans, the Huawei denies everything, arguing that none of this applies.

ΣHuawei has categorically denied the information that it wanted to reduce the production of smartphones, suspending several production lines.

The scandal erupted after a report by the South China Morning Post reported that Taiwanese electronics maker Foxconn, which assembles mobile phones for companies such as Apple and Xiaomi, had shut down several of Huawei's smartphone product lines. According to the report, the Chinese company proceeded to reduce orders for new phones, leading the manufacturer to stop production.

The Chinese newspaper even cited sources who were fully aware of the situation. These sources, however, were not named in the publication, while it was not specified whether the reported interruption would be permanent or temporary.

The issue has gained momentum internationally, as Huawei has been the "target" of US President Donald Trump and the trade war against China.

Finally, a company spokesman spoke about the issue and refused to stop production.

"Huawei refutes these claims, global production levels are normal without any significant adjustment in any direction", He stated characteristically.
