Η Huami is renowned for the release of smartwatches and fitness bands, which are not only available at affordable prices, but are durable and efficient in performing the functions they serve.
The Chinese company unveiled the new series of Xiaomi Mi Band, at an event that took place today, and for 2018 apparently it was the new Smartwatch Amazfit Verge. But this was not the only product the company released, as the Amazfit Health Band 1S also made its big entry during the presentation.

The Amazfit Health Band 1S is the successor to the Amazfit Health Band that launched in April last year. The new model comes with exactly the same design as its predecessor, but its features are upgraded with the addition of some new ones. Despite the improved features, the Amazfit Health Band 1S still has the same price of 699 yuan ($ 101).

This new Wearable gadget uses a black bracelet with a clear black screen and continues to maintain a good and beautiful design. The screen is a 0,42 inch OLED. The design of the bracelet includes a buckle. The straps are made of skin-friendly material (thermoplastic elastomer).

One of the most important features of the first generation Amazfit Health Band is the built-in HKG sensor, which can monitor the data and display it on its own screen or on a connected smartphone. Huami revealed that after the release of the first-generation team, the company's Cloud platform collected more than 5 million HKG data, and the symptoms of atrial fibrillation confirmed by doctors exceeded 14.000.

Based on the retention of the classic ECG chip, the Amazfit Band 1S has the new generation of Huami high-precision optical sensors, and the accuracy increases to 98%. At the same time, Huami also upgraded the Band to include the new Smart AI, which ensures that the band provides continuous and active monitoring rather than passive monitoring.

Other features of the Huami Health Band 1S include a PPG photoelectric sensor that monitors heart rate and sleep. The Health Band detects fluctuations in heart rate and immediately informs the user.

It also has a low-power Bluetooth 4.0, which is paired with a smartphone via an app, and fitness data can then be accessed on the phone. In addition, it has an IP67 certification, which makes it waterproof, and is powered by a 95mAH battery. The battery can be charged from zero to 100% in about 2,5 hours and can last up to 7 days on a full charge. The Band is extremely light and weighs only 10g

Huami Smart Band is available from today (September 17) on the three major e-commerce platforms of Jingdong, Tmall and Fighting.
