ΠA week ago, Honor unveiled the huge 8X at the same time as the even bigger 8X Max at an event in China. It seems that the huge phone which comes with a 6,5 ”screen is quickly becoming available worldwide following an invitation sent by the company. The first introduction of the Honor 8X outside of China will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on October 11.
Since the Honor 8X is already official, we know what to expect. It is a device with Kirin 710, and has up to 6 GB of RAM, combined with 64/128 GB of storage. There is a vertical dual camera installation on the back of the device that has as main camera one of 20 MP, and a depth sensor at 2MP. There is also a 16MP Selfie camera, which is mounted in the front tiny notch.
The phone has EMUI 8.2, based on Android Oreo, and since the phone is Global, it will acquire Google services that are otherwise banned in the Chinese domestic market. The device has a 3.750 mAh battery and a triple card slot for two nano SIM cards and a microSD.
Huawei Honor 8X
Announced in Black, Blue, Red and Pink, the Honor 8X is priced between 1,990 CNY and 1,899 CNY or in the range of € 180- € 240. Chinese prices are generally lower than European, but the phone will likely remain under € 300 in all its versions.
