Xiaomi has made its stable version available so far MIUI 12 on many phones in the series redmi, POCO and Mi. The first wave of devices received the update in July, while the second wave of devices gradually began receiving the new update from today, including its series Redmi Note 8 but also many other devices.

What is the difference between miui global and EEA global
Global is a ROM for devices purchased from all other markets except China and non-EU countries.
All devices that have been purchased from European Union countries (and Greece) then have the EEA ROM, but it is stale and does not have all the extra functions that the Global ROM has.
This is due to the harmonization with the directives and laws in force in the European Union….
A great classic example is the ability to record phone calls that a holder can activate on a device wearing the Global ROM.
This feature has been removed from the ESA ROM due to the legislation in force in the European Union…
