Ο guide describes the flashing process fastboot rom on Mi A2 (Jasmine) with its process test point, and your device needs to be opened.
Can be used if our device is in brick condition.
What we will need:
- A thin screwdriver
- A small asterisk / torx screwdriver (for the screws next to the charging port)
- A metal tweezers
- A suction cup (optional)
- A pen or plastic card or our fingernail
- Drivers on the computer
- MiFlash
- Fastboot rom, suitable for our device.
Mobile phone preparation:
1. Make sure your device is charged and turn it off.
2. Remove the sim socket.
3. Carefully unscrew the 2 screws next to the charging port and place them in a safe place.
4. Place the suction cup and pull lightly. In the opening that is created we put the pen and we start to open around. Alternatively we can use our nail.
ATTENTION: In We are A2 the screen is removed and the remaining components of the device remain on the back.
5. Once the screen is released, do not pull it sharply, because the cable is still connected.
6. Unscrew the 3 screws that hold the metal plate that protects the cable ties.
7. Carefully remove the cords of the display, battery and fingerprint sensor.
The 2 points shown by the red line, in the photo above, are the points of the test point of the device.
8. Insert the tweezers in the contacts and connect the usb cable - which we have already connected to the usb port of the computer - to the mobile.
9. Once we hear the characteristic device connection sound in windows, we are ready to start the flash.
10. Unbrick or Clean Installation of FastBoot Rom with Mi Flash (SnapDragon)
11. When the process is completed and writes Success, remove the usb cable from the mobile, carefully connect the screens of the screen, the battery and the fingerprint, screw the metal cover, place the screen of the device and screw the 2 screws, in bottom of the device.
12. We install the sim socket and we are ready to open our device.
