Its version Google Play Store v31.9.20-21, reset button "Check for updates” on the system updates page for the app, in all Android devices

Οi system updates of Google Play they are critical to the operation of the operating system and allow Google to improve your phone with new small upgrades or tweaks, all without having to release an entirely new version of Android.

While usually these updates are pushed silently in the background, you can always manually check for system updates in Google Play. That was until late last week, when the option to update system apps suddenly disappeared for several users of its devices. Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, Nothing and OnePlus.

Initially, many believed that Google might have changed its distribution model and no longer wanted users to perform these updates manually. But it turned out to be a bug in the code of the latest update it had released, and now the company is fixing that problem with a new version of Play Store.

Its version Google Play Store v31.9.20-21 so reset the button againCheck for updates” on the system updates page for Google Play on all Android devices. Like Google's system updates, new versions of the Play Store are automatically installed in the background on your device. However, you can manually check for these new versions yourself.

To do this, open it Play Store and tap on your profile photo in the upper right corner to go to Settings. In unit Informations, you should see its current version Play store and the button Update Play Store.

If the new version doesn't appear on your device, don't worry. Your phone will automatically download and install the latest version whenever it becomes available from Google, but if you're in a hurry, you can alternatively download the latest Play Store version from APKMirror in the link below and load it yourself.

Although it's good to see Google addressing this issue that arose with the button Check for updates, however, it will not always show the latest Google Play system update for your device. This happens because Google in such cases delivers the updates gradually, and makes them available gradually to more people over time.

So if this upgrade is limited to a small group of people, you won't get it even if you repeatedly click on the update button. For example, the company has yet to begin a wider rollout of the August Google Play system update, which brings a new UI for AutoFill.

So, be patient and the new version will appear on your device in the next few days.
