Google will release the midrange series of Pixel 3 in the near future, however, most eyes are on the possible successor of Google Pixel 3 XL.
ΣTwo-dimensional drawings of what the Google Pixel 4 XL might look like leaked today, thanks to the SlashLeaks website.
Although it's too early to tell if these are genuine designs, or the work of a Google device fan, the authors of PhoneArena have already built a mockup render based on the leak design.
The front of the phone looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S10 +. On the screen you will find two selfie cameras mounted on a display cutout, which will probably be similar to those of the Google Pixel 3 XL. The device will have minimal bezels, and two slots for the speakers, one at the top and the other at the bottom of the screen.
All devices released in the last year have either notch or chin. However, according to the design of SlashLeak, the Google Pixel 4 XL will have a uniform bezel around the perimeter of the screen, without any chin, as the iPhone XS has.
Although it is not clear in the design, the creator of the render assumes that the device will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, Google may prefer to place the fingerprint sensor on the side of the device, rather than below the screen.
In addition, dual rear cameras have become standard in the smartphone industry, and now most manufacturers prefer the three rear cameras. On the other hand, Google continued the tradition of the single rear camera, both in Pixel 3 and 3 XL. It will be interesting to see if the company will finally add a second rear camera, and if this will be the classic wide angle that all devices have.
The Google Pixel 4 XL is expected to be announced at a upcoming Made By Google event, which usually takes place around October.
