The play / pause button will be located at toolbar and is an easy and fast way to control the playback of content on any tab.
H Google is preparing to integrate a new button in Chrome that will allow easy and direct switching pause and play, which will be located in the toolbar.
With the volume of content we now monitor through servers, it has become a habit for all of us to have multiple open tabs at the same time. Google wants the user to have more control over the playback of both video and audio content. It does this by creating a new button that is always available.
As he says ZDNet, in the Chrome Canary version (the trial versions of Chrome) a new button has been added, located to the right of the search bar labeled “Global Media Controls(GMC). This button expands and displays options for media control.
By entering this button, Google solves the problem of locating the source of the annoying sound that you want to stop or vice versa. This solution is especially useful since Google removed the immediate "mute a tab" button that you must now right-click to find. With GMC the process is done again with one click.
For now GMC remains a test feature which even has several bugs but we expect to see it in the regular version of Chrome on Windows, Mac and Linux in the near future. It 's quite possible to see the feature in Chrome OS but we're not sure about that yet.
If you are using Chrome Canary then you can enable the feature from: chrome: // flags / # global-media-controls flag.
