The Gameathlon returns 13 & 14 July 2019, with official console the PlayStationⓇ4 for the most extreme experience of the summer!
Πleon, in the 8th cycle of development and with over 500 systems for the public, the eleven (11) acres of Tae Kwon Do Olympic Center in Paleo Faliro, will catch fire from countless gamers of all ages with incredible prizes, gifts and benefits from sponsors, beyond 100.000€ in total value!
The winter version of the event, Gameathlon Winter, with over 20.000 visitors, 4.000+ tournaments and a tsunami on Social Media, established the Gameathlon brand at the zenith of esport events in the Balkans, breaking all records for respective events.
The summer production "Gameathlon Summer 2019" is the most ambitious plan of the organizer, using all the Olympic facilities, 2 stages and a brand new addition, the Technology and Conference room. Kotsovolos comes to the official partners as an official Retail Partner, with many actions within the event and offers for the visitors.
The core of the event is, as always, the competitive part, which will give the gaming hardliners the opportunity to compete in 30+ different esports tournaments, with € 20.000 in cash prizes and the title of national champion. The infrastructure that awaits visitors in the arena of the event is truly unprecedented. 250 PlayStationⓇ4 and 200 PCs from manufacturers such as Alienware.
The prizes for the football fans of the event reach € 2.500, for FIFA and Pro, while many prizes will be distributed through activations. 20 powerful machines will host the Overwatch, Fortnite Skiller and Magic Arena tournaments, with rich cash prizes and a brand new OMEN laptop.
The biggest parade in Greece by Youtubers & Influencers will take place over the weekend, with over 200 people on stage preparing for a mass raid and crazy activations. Meet your favorite stars in the specially designed area of Utour in Hall B and take photos with them, so that you never forget the most complete collection of favorite content creators in our country.
At the same time, a more complete version of Lan Party will be implemented to meet the requirements of all those who want to get their gaming set-up (PC or console) and spend an entire 48 hours in the arena, always with basic supplies. Free food, refreshments, music and royal breakfast.
The Conference and Technology Hall, the new expansion in the field, concerns technology, high-level workshops and seminars, exciting conversations from professionals in the field of technology, the Videogame industry, but also academics. Speeches by Start-Ups, software, energy, education, digital entertainment, mobile and IT companies. At the same time, Hacking competitions, Game Jams and big gaming companies abroad will offer fun, knowledge and experience to the attendees, promoting the rational use of the internet and Videogames.
Finally, for the most demanding fans of the culture, the decoration will host all those beautiful interactions that take off the overall experience of the visitor and give the unique character of a Mega Event. From communities of pop / cult culture, space for artists, creators, cosplayers, indie companies, arcades, retro, board games, shops, as well as dining venues culminating in the No1 cosplay competition.
