The character is called Daniel Rojas with players being able to choose their gender. As Dani, players will become guerrillas and explore and unite an entire nation, from the jungles to Yara's capital, Esperanza. To succeed in the battle against Antón, players must be smart, as they have an arsenal of unique new weapons and vehicles.
The game will be released on 18 February of 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and will be available on PC from Stadia, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store, as well as UPLAY +, the Ubisoft subscription service.
Ubisoft also announced that Gold, Ultimate and Collector's Editions for Far Cry 6 will be available for pre-order.
