ELTA: New information on the sending of postal items abroad due to COVID-19

The Greek Post inform that the daily restrictions imposed on air transport worldwide, as a result of the crisis caused by the spread of COVID-19, also affect mail transfer.

ΕFrom now on, the delivery of postal items, of all categories, to almost all countries except those listed in the table below, will be suspended until sufficient and sufficient transport capacity becomes available. It is noted that, respectively, many foreign countries have stopped sending postal items to Greece.

We would like to assure you that, despite the unprecedented circumstances, the Hellenic Post Office cooperates closely with postal operators abroad and is considering alternative ways of transporting mail, where possible.

For your immediate information and as the developments are continuous, the following table will be constantly updated.
