RealMe 7 & Pro: Officially made with improved cameras, bigger batteries and faster charging

Realme introduced the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro six months ago, and today the company announced their successors called Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro respectively.

ΑThese new devices come with improved cameras, larger batteries and faster charging. The panel on both devices has a new design, which according to Realme is inspired by nature.

Realme 7 Pro

Let's talk about it first Realme 7 Pro. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 720G SoC located at 6 Pro, but brings some upgrades compared to its predecessor in some other sections.

The biggest difference is in the charge SuperDart 65W, which is only available on some of the company's most premium X-Series models. Realme claims that it can charge their battery 4.500 mAh with which the device is equipped, from 0 to 100% in just 34 minutes.

In contrast with 6 Pro Packing a 6,6 L LCD screen, the 7 Pro now has a panel Super AMOLED, which is lower at 6,4 ″, but it will do 7 Pro more compact and easier to hold in the hand. The screen resolution is FullHD +, but the refresh rate has been reduced from 90Hz to 60Hz. Realme tells us that this decision was made taking into account the comments of its customers, who preferred a 60Hz AMOLED display over a 90Hz LCD monitor. As an added bonus, we now have the Always-on Display and a fingerprint scanner below the screen, as opposed to the side scanner that accompanies its predecessor.

The Realme 6 Pro has a total of six cameras - two Selfie cameras on the front and four on the back. Now the RealMe 7 Pro has one less Selfie camera, as the company removed the 8MP front-facing Selfie camera, but at the same time replaced the main 16MP Selfie camera it had in the 6 Pro with a 32MP sensor in the 7 Pro.

There are also some changes to the quad camera setting on the back. Realme replaced the 12MP telephoto lens with a 2MP depth sensor, while maintaining the 8MP super-wide-angle lens and the 2MP Macro camera module, but the main camera now uses the newest sensor at 64MP IMX682 from Sony.

The Realme 7 Pro, like the 6 Pro, comes with the Dolby Atmos, but this time it also has stereo speakers, and this is another feature that we find in the most premium smartphones of Realme.

In its other features Realme 7 Pro included one USB-C port, the 3,5 mm headphone jack, the special card slot microSD, the NAVIC and its support Dual frequency GPS. RealMe 7 Pro is water resistant and certified by TÜV Rheinland.

Realme 7 Pro runs the RealMe UI which is based on Android 11 and will be available in colors Mirror Blue and Mirror Silver. and has two memory configurations in  6 GB / 128 GB and 8 GB / 128 GB.

Prices start from INR 19,99 (~ €230 / $270) with the most expensive version costing INR 21,999 (~ €255 / $300). The first sale of the device will start in India on September 14 on its website Realme and Flipkart.

Realm 7

The Realm 7 is is equipped with the same 6,5 inch FullHD + screen at 90Hz which we have seen in its predecessor, and is the first smartphone in the world to wear the recently announced Helio G95 SoC of Mediatek, which is an overclocked version compared to the G90T worn by Realme 6.

Battery capacity increased from 4.300 mAh to 5.000 mAh, but still charging at 30W. Realme claims that the charger Dart 30W can charge the device battery from 0 to 100% at 65 minutes, something that is still pretty good.

Like the RealMe 7 Pro, the simple RealMe 7 also has a sensor Sony IMX682 at 64MP as the main camera, but the rest of the camera setting remains the same as we've seen in RealMe 6 Pro. So we have a 16MP Selfie camera on the front and the main camera on the back is combined with an ultra-wide lens at 8MP, and two 2MP sensors for the Macro camera and the depth sensor.

As with the Pro model, the Realme 7 also gets the functionality Starry fashion and can switch between AI mode and Pro mode on the 64MP camera but also in night mode. However, these features will not be available in Realme 7 when it is released, but will be available later through OTA information.

In its other characteristics Realm 7 included the USB-C port, h 3,5 mm headphone jack. The device is running Real UI based on Android 10  and has the fingerprint scanner on the side, a special card slot microSD, has storage up to 128 GB and two RAM options in 6 GB and 8 GB. The smartphone is also water resistant, but like the Pro, it does not have official IP certification.

Its variant Realm 7 with 6 GB / 64 GB  available at INR 14,999 (~ €170 / $205) and there will be another model with 8 GB / 128 GB priced at INR 16,99 (~ €195 / $230). Both variations are available in colors Mist White and Mist Blue and will be released from September 10 via the official Indian website Flipkart and Realme.
