DxOMark: The smartphones with the top cameras for 2019

That's it DxOMark published the lists of top smartphones at the camera level, dividing them into categories according to the download that the user wants to make.

Το DxOMark has managed to be considered the ultimate "controller" for their cameras smartphones in recent years, and that's why we see manufacturers emphasizing the rating they receive in their presentations.

Top all-around smartphone: Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition (aka Mi Note 10)

According to DxOMark we have a tie between the two devices of Huawei and Xiaomi. On the one hand Mate 30 Pro is slightly better at taking photos due to better noise management, but the My Notes 10 offers better zoom (thanks to the two telephoto lenses) and better video quality.

Video Recording: iPhone 11 Pro Max

DxOMark generally recommends iPhone 11 Pro Max as the top all-around smartphone for those who prefer Apple products, but at the same time highlights it as the best choice for video capture. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is close by, but the iPhone was chosen because of the ability to capture video with active HDR and because of a better mobile video ecosystem.

Zoom: Xiaomi Mi Note 10

The sensor 108MP gets another distinction for its zoom capabilities, with DxOMark stating that it "crushed" the competition with the help of two telephoto lenses (2x and 3.7x optical zoom). The website also refers to Huawei P30 Pro, because it was easier to get it before, but emphasizes that it does not capture as much detail as that of Xiaomi.

Ultra-wide: Samsung Galaxy Note10 + 5G

DxOMark reports that the Samsung smartphone offers the user one of the widest lenses we have seen, with excellent results both indoors and in well-lit outdoor areas. Alternative iPhone 11 Pro Max, although it has a narrower viewing angle and more shooting noise.

Night shots: Huawei Mate 30 Pro

Huawei reigns in the category of night shots. He considers it the best Huawei Mate 30 Pro, but close by is also the Huawei P30 Pro. They have similar sensors, however, the P30 Pro has more noise compared to the company's latest flagship.

Selfies: Samsung Galaxy Note10 + 5G

Just this year DxOMark started giving ratings for the selfie camera of smartphones and its first choice is Samsung Galaxy Note10 + 5G.
