The new became commercially available Over The Top (OTT) its service Cosmos TV, for TVs and mobile devices, which changes the way users watch TV programs.
ΜWith the new service, subscribers enjoy all the premium content of the platform (90 digital channels, 16 channels Cosmote Sport, Cinema and History, exclusive sports and cinematic content, documentaries and original Greek productions), through personalized proposals, which are formed - using artificial intelligence- based on their preferences and habits.
Cosmote TV's streaming platform is the first in Greece and one of the few internationally, which combines on demand content with the live program of linear and free channels. Also, for the first time in the Greek market, 4K content is provided, through the Cosmote Sport 4K channel, which hosts selected sporting events.
The OTT service is accessible -for new subscribers- through Wi-Fi Android TV Box, as an application for mobile devices (tablets, smartphones) and through a browser for PCs / laptops, while very soon it will be available as an app for Smart TVs ( eg Samsung, LG, Sony). It has a fresh menu and user-friendly navigation interface, adapted to the size of each screen and the specifics of each device, as well as an easier way to find content.
Subscribers of the new service can create separate profiles, for example for all members of their family, while there is a special menu for young children, with a friendly environment, but also restrictions on access to content.
Subscribers can get the OTT service of Cosmote TV, with a variety of options:
• Combined with Cosmote Double Play programs, for integrated internet services, fixed telephony and television.
• With one of the four Cosmote TV Over The Top contract packages from 8 euros / month (Entry Pack, Cinema Pack, Sports Pack, Full Pack) provided with free Android TV Box.
• With the flexible Cosmote TV OTT Mini Packs, available -without commitment- individually or in combination (Cinema Pack, Sports Pack, Documentaries Pack, Kids Pack, Greek Channels Pack), but also the Cosmote TV Sports Daily Pass, for access to Cosmote Sport channels for 24 hours.
The new streaming service allows you to watch content on up to two devices at the same time. Soon there will be the possibility for download and play offline, so that the user can watch a movie or series without Internet access.
The service can be obtained through the Cosmote and Germanos store network, at 13888 and cosmote.gr, while -soon- the Cosmote TV OTT Mini Packs and the Sports Daily Pass will be available for purchase through the MyCosmote app.
