Cosmote TV: The new Over The Top service is coming

H COSMOTE TV is ready to market the news Over The Top (OTT) service, which radically changes the content viewing experience.

H  new OTT service - based on its technology platform ComcastHas a fresh menu and user interface, for common experience on all screens (TV, tablets, smartphones, PC), while offering to the user personalized content suggestions through recommendation engine, as well as an easier way to find the content that interests him.

The main advantage of the service is that it is the first streaming platform in GREECE and one of the few internationally, that combines the live program of linear channel with on demand content, making suggestions to the user that best suit his preferences and habits.

Also, the OTT service of COSMOTE TV is the only one that offers premium content in all program categories (movies, series, sports, documentaries, children, program from free channels etc).

The main features of the new OTT service of COSMOTE TV

• The new OTT service will be provided with WiFi Android decoder, operating with any fixed or mobile network.
• The service will be available with an app for tablets/smartphones/Desktops/laptops and soon with app for Smart TVs (eg Samsung, LG, Sony).

Commercial release

The new OTT service of COSMOTE TV will be commercially available for new customers in the near future, through the network of COSMOTE and GERMANOS stores, in 13888, cosmote.gr & the MYCOSMOTE app and will be provided through flexible packages, at the level of commitment but and content. Existing customers will be able to have the new viewing experience on Smart TVs and mobile devices, in the first quarter of 2020, along with their satellite service.
