New areas and additional neighborhoods across the country are gaining access to FTTH infrastructure, and access to its ultra-high speeds and unlimited possibilities optical fiber.
Πaccess to ultra-high speeds and the unlimited possibilities of fiber optics to home (FTTH), now have 480.000 households and businesses throughout Greece through COSMOTE Fiber1, the largest fiber optic network in the country.
Continuing the implementation of the largest telecommunications infrastructure upgrade project in recent decades, in which it places optical fibers throughout the country, the COSMOTE "Enabled" FTTH on 10 new areas and continued to expand availability in areas that already have access to FTTH. COSMOTE continues its dynamic investments in the development and expansion of the fiber optic network. Specifically for the possibility of connecting with 100% optical fiber to the house, the goal is 550.000 FTTH lines throughout the country, by the end of the year. Thanks to the continuous expansion of the network, the OTE Group remains first in population coverage, having installed over it 77% of the total lines FTTH of the country.
Guaranteed speeds 100 & 200Mbps, from € 28,90
COSMOTE has the programs COSMOTE Double Play Fiberspeed 100 & 200Mbps from €28,902 per month, providing guaranteed ultra-high speeds of 100 & 200Mbps with the possibility of upgrading to 1Gbps in the future.
The price is formed in combination with the special subsidy of a total amount of € 360 of the Superfast Broadband action of the Ministry of Digital Government. The action is implemented with the voucher method, which subsidizes their fixed assets COSMOTE Double Play Fiberspeed programs with € 13 / month, for a period of 24 months and the one-time connection cost with € 482.
