Arrived at 90% nationwide population coverage[1] of COSMOTE 5GBy COSMOTE to achieve, much earlier, the ambitious goal it had set for the end of 2023
On the country's largest 5G network [2], the population 5G coverage has even surpassed it 95% in Athens, Thessaloniki more 68 cities in all of Greece.
In particular, in Athens and Thessaloniki the coverage has reached 97%, while 5G coverage exceeds 95% and to Attica: in Artemisa, Aspropyrgos, Vari, Gerakas, Elefsina, Koropi, Megara, Nea Makri, Pallini and Salamina.
- In Northern Greece: in Alexandroupoli, Veria, Giannitsa, Grevena, Drama, Edessa, Kavala, Kastoria, Katerini, Kilkis, Kozani, Komotini, Naoussa, Xanthi, Polygyro, Ptolemaida, Serres and Florina. In central Greece: in Amfissa, Thebes, Karpenissi, Lamia, Livadia, and Chalkida.
- In the Peloponnese: in Amaliada, Argos, Kalamata, Corinth, Nafplio, Patras, Pyrgos, Sparta and Tripoli.
- In western Greece: in Agrinio, Aigio, Arta, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina Messolongi and Preveza.
- In Thessaly: in Volos, Karditsa, Larissa and Trikala. In the Ionian Islands: in Argostoli, Zakynthos, Corfu and Lefkada.
- In Crete: in Agios Nikolaos, Heraklion, Rethymno and Chania.
Finally, over 95% coverage has the Ermoupoli Syros, Kos, Mytilini, Rhodes, Samos and Chios.

Top honors for the COSMOTE network
In 2023, for one more year, the COSMOTE mobile network was awarded for the speed and quality of its services. In accordance with Speedtest® by Ookla®[3], COSMOTE distinguished itself as “the fastest mobile network in Greece» for the 7th consecutive year. At the same time, he received the certification "Best in Test» for the 9th consecutive time for mobile internet and voice services, from the internationally recognized telecommunications network measurement company, umlaut, now a division of Accenture.
