For all Android Smartphone users who are facing problems with lack of storage space on their devices, the Google has the solution with the new function Auto-Archive (auto archive)
In a post made on official blog of Google developers, the company announced that a new feature called Auto-Archive, which will provide the possibility to automatically free up storage space on all Android devices.
However, this feature is not something innovative, as a similar feature exists in its recent versions as well IOS for Apple iPhones. This feature of auto-archiving in Android will allow the system to reduce the space consumed by all the unused applications. When the function is activated Auto-Archive, large chunks of application data will be removed from the system and from the storage space, without uninstalling them or deleting all the personal data that accompanies them.
Of course, this way it will be possible to save up to 60% of the storage space, according to what is claimed by Google.
Users will have the option to re-download any of the archived apps by simply tapping the app icon from the menu or home screen. This means that the process of retrieving the archived app will be similar to updating rather than tediously reinstalling the same app from scratch.
