For years, a point of contention between Google's Android fans and Apple's iOS has been the lack of an App Drawer from Apple's iOS.
ΔIt is not that practical and beautiful to see all the applications that you have installed on your device on the home screen, especially when they may be applications that you rarely use. However, if you happen to have an iPhone, it is certain that you will always have your home screen full of these applications.
Android users are constantly praising the app drawer as the best feature of the system not found in any of Apple's iPhones.
But this to date, as while Apple was determined never to add it, so it seems that this will change with the advent of iOS 14, and Apple will finally add the infamous app drawer (App Drawer). We are now living in historic moments, as it took so many years for Apple to finally realize that it is an extremely useful and practical feature.
Apple therefore christens the app drawer as "Application library”In the new iOS 14. All you need to do now is scroll right to the home screen and you will have all your applications smartly sorted into categories like: applications - games, creativity, social, etc. - all the categories that iOS can recognize.
You can either use the top search bar to find an application, open the folder "proposed”(IPhone learns from your usage patterns and suggests an app), or scroll through the categories to find what you're looking for.
By adding it Application library, you will no longer need to have 47 home screens on your device. So iOS 14 will let you hide all these useless screens when you're on "wiggle”(Home screen editing function).
But wait! There are also widgets!
For a few years now, iOS has been supporting almost and widgets, which are now enriched with new features.
In the new iOS 14, you will now be able to adjust the size of your widgets and place them anywhere on the home screen you want. Again, this is something that Android users have been enjoying with Apple's iOS because it could not do so for a few years. So now that is changing, and as we said above we are living in historical moments ……
When is iOS 14 released?
Usually for many years in a row, Apple releases the new version of iOS every September, but we do not yet have an official date from Apple.
