Apple A14X Bionic: Outperforms Intel Core i9 with MacBook Pro 16 ″

Just days before the Apple Event, the new A14X Bionic appears at GeekBench 5 and surpasses him in performance Core i9 of MacBook Pro.

Σspecifically, the website Apple Insider brought to light the first benchmarks of the upcoming Apple SoC and shows us that its performance far exceeds the competition.

The comparison is with the 16-inch MacBook Pro with Intel Core i9 processor. At GeekBench, this model reaches them 1096 points in single-core and 6869 points in the multi-core test. But the model that appeared on GeekBench with A14X Bionic SoC reached them 1634 points in single-core and 7220 points in multi-core.

In fact, this score is much higher than the 1583 single points and 4198 multi points we saw from the iPad Air with A14 Bionic.

The reason seems to be that its CPU A14X Bionic reaches up to 3,10 GHz, with a basic frequency of 1,8 GHz. This is the largest timing we have ever seen on Apple Silicon to date. Also, the GPU results report 8GB RAM. However, if this is indeed the performance then we have nothing to fear about Apple's transition to ARM.
