Η Apple will unveil three new iPhones this year, at an event that is likely to take place in the week of September 9th. The phones we are waiting for are: one with a 5,8-inch screen - successor to the iPhone X, one with a 6-inch screen - as a Plus, and a model with a low-cost 5-inch screen. The lowest price will be achieved by using LCD screen instead of AMOLED, and aluminum frame instead of stainless steel. All three iPhones will be similar in appearance, but the budget version will only have one camera on the back.
Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has uploaded a table - see it above - detailing the features of the three devices and the differences between them. The cheap iPhone with the 6,1 inch screen may be available in October, due to problems with the production schedule. The other two devices will logically be released on end of September. Kuo says the iPhones will have no support for the Apple Pencil this year, while claiming that the Plus model will have a split-screen function.
Along with the new iPhones, next month we are expected to see the upgraded AirPods, the AirPower wireless charger, a new Apple Watch and a new generation iPad Pro. The Apple Watch will have a larger screen the same size, while the iPads will have 11- and 12,9-inch screens with thinner bezels. They will not have the Home key but will unlock with Face ID.
