The Huawei Mate 30 Pro made his appearance today at Antutu Benchmark, and shows how her chip Huawei HiSilicon follows the competition from Qualcomm and Apple,, and is very close to winning first place.
ΤThe Smartphone that was tested was the LIO-AL00, which according to TENAA is the 4G version of Pro. This is important because 4G and 5G phones use slightly different versions of the Kirin 990 chipset..
In short, the Kirin 990 chipset at Mate 30 Pro 5G is built on a 7nm + EUV process, the mid-range Cortex-A76 cores are clocked at 0,27GHz higher than the 4G version of the PRO. The Kirin 990 Chipsert in PRO 4G is made with the older 7nm process.
This means that there is room for higher scores once the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Mate 30 5G become available. AnTuTu also reports that there may have been some energy-saving functionality that was slowing down the results.
