Android 11: It is officially launched from today and can be installed on selected devices

The final version has finally been made available Android 11 from Google, and can be installed on selected Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, OPPO and realme devices.

Here are 11 new features that come with the new software:

Better communication with everyone

1. I often observe myself moving between different messaging applications to communicate with my close people. With Android 11, communications made with each messaging application are transferred to a specially designed notification area, making on-site communication easier. You can also prioritize communications with your loved ones so that you never miss a message.

2. Balloons make multiple tasks on your device a breeze. You can reply to important communications without leaving or closing the application being used.

3. Built-in screen recording is a fact: you can now videotape and share what's happening on your mobile. Record audio from a microphone, your device, or both - without the use of an additional application.

New ways to control connected devices and multimedia

4. You can now access all the smart devices from one place by simply holding down the start button. Check connected devices such as the thermostat, smart lock, and more at the touch of a button, without opening multiple applications.

5. Redesign the multimedia control system to make it easier to use than ever before. You can now select the media player by transferring your music from the speakers to the headphones without wasting any time.

6. Android Auto now works wirelessly on all devices running Android 11 and all compatible vehicles. You can now, without the use of a cable, at the touch of a button ask for instructions, send a message, or request help from Google Assistant, among other things.

More control over your privacy and data

7. An approval gives you access to your microphone, camera and location for one purpose only  use. The next time an application needs access to these tools it will need to ask you for approval again.

8. If you have not used the application for a long time, you may not want it to continue to access your data. Android will now automatically restore approvals for unused applications and notify you accordingly. You can always choose to re-authorize the application the next time you open it.

9. With the new Google Play update systems, your mobile receives more security and privacy updates in the same way that an app is updated. This way you will receive the updates as soon as possible, without having to wait for a new version of all the software.

10.  For its users Android Enterprise, Android 11 provides the safeguards that personal devices have on corporate devices. Your business profile gives the IT department of the company access to all the tools for managing the device, without having access to your personal profile or your personal data.

11.  If you are using Pixel 2 or later, you will get it additional tools to organize your device, through the suggested applications based on your daily life, and new ways to take a screenshot in an application or to select an image, text and much more.

Android 11 is launched today and can be installed on selected Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, OPPO and realme devices. In the coming months more partner manufacturers will upgrade their devices with the new software.
