New information shows that Amazfit smart watches they may soon take over the operation measurement of blood pressure.

Σday, through AndroidTR, new information is coming on how it will be made possible the measurement of blood pressure in its Smartwatch Amazfit. So far, this feature is only supported by dedicated mobile devices, but also smart watches of Samsung , As the Active 2.

After yesterday's presentation of Amazfit GTR 3, GTR 3 Pro and GTS 3, today we have new information about ability to measure blood pressure on her smart watches Huami or better through the application ZEPP Health

As you may remember, the company changed the name of the application to ZEPP Health and yesterday also changed the logo of its range of devices.

So according to the information we have, the following Smart watches from Amazfit will also be able to measure blood pressure. This is a feature that was requested by the fans of the company, but was never integrated in its devices.

But after an analysis made by AndroidT in the source code of the company smartwatches, a huge number of reports were found in the code, for blood pressure measurement.

For those who do not know it, the Samsung Already from the previous generation of its smartwatches, it has added this feature to its devices.

Blood pressure measurement on Amazfit Smartwatches will work in much the same way as on Samsung. It will detect blood pressure thanks to a special algorithm, which, however, will have to be re-calibrated by the user every 28 days. This means that the smartwatch after the calibration process will be able to measure blood pressure values correctly and automatically, however, these measurements will be clear "personal".

In short, the smart watch will not be able to analyze the data accurately unless it is at the wrist of its owner. This means that if the device is in the hands of another user, the function can be activated, but it will show incorrect measurements, since the calibration will not be correct.

So far it is not known which Smartwatch Amazfit blood pressure measurement will be available. At the moment the news GTR 3, GTR 3 Pro and GTS 3 do not seem to support the feature, however this may be possible later with some sort of update to the watch firmware.
