ΤThe Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has been officially unveiled on the Thai forum at Mi.com, but this does not appear to be an official launch as there is no mention of the phone outside the forums yet.
In any case, this is touted as Xiaomi's first phone with 4 AI cameras. It is the first phone of the company with two dual cameras in front (Selfie) and back.
The rear dual camera uses a 12MP main unit and a 5MP depth sensor. This may sound similar to what the Redmi Note 5 Pro had, but the new features of the camera are its larger pixels (1.4μm vs. 1.25μm), and the brighter aperture (f / 1.9 vs. f / 2.2), as well as and Dual Pixel AF.
The front camera (selfie) has a 20MP as the main sensor (with binning pixel 4 in 1), and a second 2MP depth sensor.
The other new feature of the device is the screen - since we now have a 6.26 "IPS LCD screen with a notch. Xiaomi can be proud of the fact that the Redmi Note 6 Pro has a screen ratio of 86%. The screen promises 500 Nits of brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 2.5D.
Then there are some features that have not changed compared to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, starting with the Snapdragon 636 chipset. Keep in mind that this is a phone that has a price of THB 7,000 (Indonesian currency), ie about $ 215/185 € . The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (which means it matches the cost of the Redmi Note 5 with AI Dual Camera and the same amount of memory).
Also, the 4.000mAh battery that the device has, promises up to 6 hours of gaming or 8,5 hours of video playback.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes in black as the base color, but also in red, pink and blue. It has a metal frame with plastic panels (top and bottom) for better wireless connectivity.
ΥΓ. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is already ready for pre-order in Thailand, and comes with a Mi Band 2 for free. Alternatively, you can get a free Repeater Mi Wi-Fi or Mi Selfie stick.
