H Xiaomi has made many significant investments in recent years, with one of the most iconic being Artificial Intelligence, which has already been integrated into many of its phones. To create her Digital Assistant Xiao AI, Xiaomi has formed a team 1,000 people, which are dedicated to the development of various AI applications.
A few years ago there were various memories about the existence of a car made by Xiaomi. Lei Jun and his staff have repeatedly commented on the matter, saying the Chinese company has not developed or built a smart car. Although what Xiaomi employees claim is true, the company has recently started working with Baic group. The purpose of the cooperation is the implementation of Xiaomi gadgets that have Xiao AI in its vehicles.
On November 16, Xiaomi reached an agreement with faw Car Co. Ltd (“First Automobile Works”), widely known as the largest car manufacturer in China. The agreement was based on the integration of the assistant Xiao Ai Tongxue on vehicles produced by the company. Cui Baoqiu, vice president of Xiaomi's Artificial Intelligence division, was present at the ceremony to ratify the deal.
According to what was said at the ceremony, Xiaomi will work with Faw to develop a system that allows more privacy between the user and the car. The system will be based on Xiao Ai, which will allow vehicles to offer an overall better driving experience to the driver. At present, Xiao AI has become popular in Xiaomi smartphones and family products Mi Home, and now with these agreements its spread will be accelerated.
