Μfollowing tests last March, Google now appears to be launching a more extensive launch of Picture-in-Picture mode for YouTube on desktops, so that the video you are watching remains open in a corner of your screen while you are browsing other web pages.
The window with the video that you have opened is located in the lower right corner and shows you the name and the channel where it comes from, while it also works normally for playlists. Leaving the mouse cursor on it, the play / pause / next / back options appear, as well as the seek bar at the bottom for other relevant videos. The playlists also show the list of the next videos along with the repeat and shuffle options.
Also, in the upper right corner there is a button to close it, clicking anywhere in the video will take you to its entire YouTube page and with a right click the classic options we know from YouTube are displayed.
Some users are already watching YouTube Miniplayer, but we are waiting for the general launch for everyone with a relevant announcement of the service.
