Today Xiaomi officially reveals to us all the impressive specifications for the four cameras of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra;
Xiaomi has managed to keep the specifications that it will have hidden 13 Ultra, however a few leaks that have surfaced over the past couple of months have revealed some of the device's key specifications.
For example, we knew that the device would have a four-camera setup on the back mounted on a huge circular island, and that it would retain the sensor Sony's one-inch 989MP IMX50 for the main camera.
But today, thanks to Xiaomi itself, we learn what the remaining three camera sensors that the device will have will be.
In an official post made by the company on Weibo, it revealed to us that alongside the sensor IMX989 at 50 MP from Sony which he also used in Xiaomi 12S Ultra, the upcoming Xiaomi 13Ultra it will have an additional three sensors IMX858 at 50MP from Sony.
The poster published today by the company also describes some of the advanced features that the device's cameras will have, such as the noise reduction and the best features in HDR.
We've already seen this sensor in action on Honor Magic5 Pro coupled with a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, however the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra, will use the sensor Sony IMX858 on camera with super ergonomic lens (with PDAF of course), In telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and to periscopic camera with 5x optical zoom.
So, the Xiaomi 13Ultra it will not only have better camera hardware but a more versatile set of cameras, and we can't wait to see what this combination can do in practice.
Fortunately, we will not have to wait many days, as the device will be officially announced simultaneously in China and Global markets on April 18th.
At the same time, the company has given us some sample photos from the device's cameras, which are truly amazing, with completely natural colors, perfect white balance, wide dynamic range and the absence of noise even in the most difficult lighting conditions.
