Xiaomi 13 & 13 Pro : Made official in Europe (specs and prices)

After the launch of Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro in China, it's finally time to welcome the devices to Europe, along with it Xiaomi 13Lite which is also making its world debut

The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, are the flagship devices of the series which come with the Global & EEA version of MIUI 14, and as expected, the devices have very small various (in terms of software) with the corresponding models released in China.

Xiaomi 13

The Xiaomi 13 it is made with a slightly different design compared to the Pro version, and comes with flat E6 AMOLED screen 6,36″ analysis Full HD + and brightness up to 1900 nits. The display has support in DCI-P3, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, has punch hole for the front Selfie camera and the fingerprint scanner is placed under the display. Xiaomi is particularly proud of the fact that the frames of the Xiaomi 13 quite thinner on all sides than iPhone 14.

The processor and memory are exactly the same as the Pro version and it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with memory RAM LPDDR5X to 12 GB and internal storage spaceUFS 4.0 up to 512 GB. The device is powered by a battery with a capacity of 4500mAh and supports wired reverse charging at 67W, but also wireless charging at 50w.

In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 13 is equipped with a triple camera system consisting of a main camera on 50 MP with f/1,8, 23mm, 1/1,56″, 1,0μm and Hyper OIS.

The second camera is a telephoto lens with a sensor at 10MP with support OIS with Leica lens, aperture f/2.0 and 3x native zoom, while the third camera is with Ultrawide lens and sensor at 12 MP with f/2.2 aperture.

For the front Selfie camera we have a sensor at 32MP with f / 2.0  which supports the HDR, panorama shooting, and 1080p video recording at 30fps.

Leica True Color Imaging technology is an advanced technology used in the cameras of Leica and Xiaomi products that aims to reproduce colors as close to reality as possible. It is based on an image processing algorithm that takes into account many factors, such as lighting, color temperature and saturation, to ensure that the colors are as close to reality as possible. This image processing process is applied to photos taken with Leica cameras so that colors can be reproduced naturally and realistically.

In addition, technology True Color Imaging is designed to works effectively even in difficult lighting conditions, such as direct sunlight or night lighting. In this way, Leica cameras can capture detailed and sharp images even in adverse lighting conditions. This technology is present in both the standard model and the Pro model.

Xiaomi 13 Pro

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is the flagship device of the series, and features a curved E78 AMOLED screen 6.6” with 2K resolution, technology LTPO, dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and fading frequency PWM in 1920 Hz to reduce flicker.

The screen is curved on the sides and protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 5. The device is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and also uses the fastest memory chips : LPDDR5X RAM (up to 12 GB) and UFS 4.0 storage (up to 512 GB).

The device is powered by a battery 4820 mAh with support for fast charging 120 watts, which allows you to fully recharge it in just 19 minutes, and has support for wireless charging at 50W, with which you can charge the battery to 100% in just 36 minutes.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro features three 50MP cameras, with the main unit being a 989-inch Sony IMX1 sensor with f / 1.9 aperture and optical stabilization system Hyperois. The same camera allows you to take double zoom photos with a resolution of 12,5MP without loss of quality.

Next is a telephoto lens at 50MP with equivalent focal length at 75mm with optical stabilization, which provides optical zoom 3,2x. The telephoto lens uses a "floating" lens system, which allows you to change the focal length and take macro photos with 3,2x zoom from a distance of just 10 cm. Finally, for the third camera we have one Ultrawide lens that allows you shoot with a 115-degree field of view, and of course all cameras feature optics and processing algorithms from the German company Leica.

The Xiaomi 13 will be released on 8 March in three colors – Black, White and Floral Green. The price starts from 999 € for the issue 8 / 256 GB.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro will also be available from 8 March to Mrceramic black or ceramic white with two memory combinations – 12/256 GB or 12/512 GB. Prices will start from 1.299 euro.
