Xiaomi has applied for the registration of the trademarks with the names “Xiaomi Modena”, “MODENAT” and “MIMODENA”, and the international classification for the above marks includes the means of transport, the scientific instruments and buildings.
As we already know from previous leaks, Xiaomi's first car would be a mid-sized one fastback sedan with the internal one code name Modena, which will be available in two versions, but their price has yet to be determined.
In addition, there are strong indications that Xiaomi will also build a second mass-produced car with the in-house one code name Lemans, which is expected to be released on 2025.
A few weeks ago, the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, said at the investor meeting, that he spends half of his available time on the company's cars and 1/4 of his time on Xiaomi's smartphones, IoT devices and other high-end products.
