Η Xiaomi has officially confirmed its launch MIX Fold 2 in China and the company will announce its second foldable phone tomorrow on August 11.
As is known, the first MIX Fold was never made available on the global market and so far Xiaomi has not revealed to us if the upcoming MIX Fold 2 it will also be released in other markets outside of China.
Before the official launch of the device, the MySmartPrice has learned some information about its pricing MIX Fold 2, and everything indicates that Xiaomi's new foldable Smartphone is going to see a significant increase in price in China, compared to last year's MIX Fold. This is mainly due to the fact that the new MIX Fold 2 has significant changes in its design combined with some serious upgrades in the Hardware that will support it.

Xiaomi will reveal the MIX Fold 2 in China on August 11 to face the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 which will be released today on August 10 on Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event 2022.
So, a day before its official launch, the pricing of the device was leaked, and according to the sources cited by the MySmartPrice, the version of the device with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage will be priced between CNY 10.000-10.999 (about $1484 / €1437 – $1632 / €1580).
The new MIX Fold 2 will also be available in two additional storage options 512 GB and 1 TB with 12 GB RAM.
Xiaomi has already revealed on Weibo the design the device will have, and the large camera module on the back is immediately apparent, housing a triple camera setup along with the LED Flash. As in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, the MIX Fold 2 will also feature lenses from Leica but it's unlikely to feature the same one-inch Sony IMX989 camera sensor found in the 12S Ultra.
The above poster posted on Weibo suggests that the MIX Fold 2 it has a fairly thin body for a flip phone and will have the fingerprint scanner placed on the side, above which the volume keys are located.
According to rumors, the MIX Fold 2 will have a main camera at 50MP with the sensor Sony IMX766, One ultrawide camera at 13MP and one telephoto lens at 8MP with optical zoom 2x. The device will be equipped with a foldable 8,02 inch OLED screen with analysis 2,5K and refresh rate at 120Hz, while for the Selfie camera there will be a sensor under the screen.
Externally, the foldable phone will have a 6,56 inch AMOLED display analysis Full HD + with refresh rate support in 120 Hz. The device will be equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm and will be powered by a mbattery at 4500 mAh that will support the fast charge at 67 W. The new MIX Fold 2 will come with MIUI 13 which will be based on Android 12.

Xiaomi will also enrich its notebook portfolio with its launch Xiaomi Book Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition on August 11.
