Specifications and features
The new Mijia laser projector is compatible with a 150-inch screen and can maintain an average brightness of 2,400 ANSI. This allows the image to be visible even during the day, so you do not have to darken the room by pulling the curtains.
It has a projection ratio of 1,2: 1 with a maximum projection distance of approximately 3,9 meters.
Xiaomi's new laser projector supports ALPD 3.0 projection technology, which translates into more natural and vibrant colors. It also has a four-way keystone correction, so that the device can be used even in small rooms.
In addition, the device is equipped with a built-in microphone array consisting of 4 very sensitive sensors for noise detection. This allows the device to easily locate the audio source and manage it very easily via voice commands. Essentially, you do not need the remote control, since through voice commands you can turn on / off the device or even give various navigation commands during the view.
The Mijia laser projector is equipped with a new high-performance Amlogic T972 SoC with a maximum frequency of 1.9GHz. Compared to its predecessor, it is significantly faster (by 63%), while consumption has been reduced by 55%.
The device also supports 8K video decoding. The Xiaomi laser projector also has some safety features for the intensity of the laser light. For example, if it detects an obstacle while the device is activated, it interrupts the view to protect the eyes. It also reduces the diffusion of blue light to reduce radiation to the human eye, thus reducing the optic nerve fatigue of our eyes.
Sound
Xiaomi's Mijia laser projector is equipped with 10W dual speakers. Each speaker is 1,75 inches and provides high quality sound. In fact, the speakers provide deep and intense bass, as they deliver up to 60Hz without any problems, creating a Cinema environment. Even when the projector is off, the device can simply be used as a smart speaker.
Design and doors
The Mijia laser projector the company's well-known minimalist design and aesthetic philosophy. The shell is made of high quality glossy plastic (PC) and has a simple white rounded body, with the front covered with a dark gray fabric. This allows it to be perfectly combined with the furniture of your home.
Xiaomi's new laser projector also features the MIUI TV system which includes a bulky collection of projection content (for China), as well as a smart Patchwall system with rich content.

Xiaomi's Mijia laser projector is available at 5.999 yuan (about $ 852) and will be officially available for purchase from December 12.
