Η Xiaomi as you remember, introduced the Mi Mix 3 a month ago, with the bold claim that the phone will arrive in Europe next year with 5G compatibility. Lin Bin, co-founder and president of Xiaomi, posted a photo on Weibo, revealing that the new device managed to achieve 5G speeds in a controlled environment.
In the image, we see the "5G" logo in the upper right corner, while next to the watch on the upper left, we see the Android Pie logo, which is probably a recent update of Miui, since the Mi Mix 3 released for the first time.
Capturing this image, Lin Bin assured fans that Xiaomi could deliver on its promise. If Xiaomi finally manages to release the device before MWC 2019, it may be the first smartphone to bring 5G support, surpassing Samsung, OnePlus and Huawei.
