Ο 5th Panhellenic Generation Next Competition of the Foundation Vodafone was completed, attracting, once again, the interest of hundreds of secondary school students from end to end throughout Greece
Τthe first place was won by the team ex-almyrou II, from Almyros General High School, which designed an advanced forest protection station.
The students Apostolis Drolias, Giorgos Kalogiros and Alexandros Tsampiras, on the occasion of the fires that occurred last year in its area Mangesias, they realized that the early detection of a fire can prove to be a lifesaver for any forest and – under the guidance of their professor Dimitriou Mamoura – they leveraged technology Arduino and designed the station.
