Two of the most recent malicious applications were detected by cyber experts Doctor Web and the technological news site Bleeping Computer.
Αthese seem to stole money from users and have now been removed from the official Play Store.
Both were developed by a fake company called "Tsaregorotseva“. The two applications, the “Top Browsing" and "Advice Photo Power”Settled in 500.000+ and 100.000+ devices respectively, which is simply unacceptable considering their aggressive behavior.
The "generic" names, but also the apparent usefulness of the applications have the same purpose: the registration of users in fake services without their approval, which resulted in to pay users for non-existent products.
Unfortunately, his researchers Dr.Web found other threats in January at Google Play, in applications that try to steal personal information, passwords, phone numbers, and even Facebook accounts.
