The RedmiBook 16 is powered by new 7nm processors AMD Ryzen 4000 with Vega GPU in graphics.

AMD's new processors are built with 7nm technology and architecture Zen2 which brings 15% efficiency improvement to IPC, 23% efficiency improvement to single core, 60% efficiency improvement to multiple cores and doubles energy efficiency. The performance of the integrated Vega GPU for graphics increases by 59%, while the overall performance of the new AMD CPUs increases by about 25% compared to the previous generation.

The new RedMi Notebooks are equipped with up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512 GB of SATA SSD storage.

The slim and lightweight RedMi laptops feature FULL HD displays (1920 × 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60Hz, and have a brightness of up to 300nits.

The 16-inch model is supported by a slightly larger battery at 46Wh. In terms of connectivity, they have two USB Type-C ports, a standard USB Type-A port, an HDMI port and a 3,5 mm headphone jack. They also have dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0.

For audio, the new RedMiBook has two 2W speakers, supports DTS audio processing and comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home Chinese Edition. The RemdiBook 16 has dimensions at 367.20 × 232.85 × 17.55mm and weighs 1,8kg.
