Η Redmi (a subsidiary of Xiaomi) has released many different variants of the series so far Redmi Note 10 and now the company is adding another device to the line - the Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition.
Σspecifically the Redmi has been released so far, the: Redmi Note 10, Note 10S, Note 10 5G, Note 10 Pro (known as Notes 10 Pro Max in India), the Note 10 Pro for China and its Indian variant Note 10 Pro.
So now the company is adding another variant to the same line as the name Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition. This device is essentially the Redmi Note 10 5G, but with many important modifications.
The first big difference is in the chipset of the device, as we now have it Snapdragon 480 5G, which replaces Dimensity 700 5G SoC by Mediatek that we had in his typical model Redmi Note 10 5G. Although both chipsets have a similar layout in the CPU (2x Cortex-A76 and 6x Cortex-A55), Qualcomm SoC has Adreno 619 GPU, instead of Mali-G57 MC2 GPU which has the Mediatek SoC.
Another important difference is that Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition takes IP68 certification for resistance to water and dust. We have seen RedMi devices in the past receive certification for water resistance in the company's financial models, but this is the first time we see a device receive IP68 certification which makes it completely waterproof.
Finally, the new Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition has battery at 4.800mAh compared to Redmi Note 10 5G which has a battery in 5.000mAh.
In the other specifications, the two phones are identical and have 6,5 inch FHD + LCD screen with a renewal rate of 90Hz, wired charging in 18w, main rear camera in 48MP 2MP + + 2MP and a Selfie camera at 8MP. which is located below a small hole in the center of the top of the screen.
We also have IR blaster, 3,5mm port for the headset and fingerprint scanner located on the side of the device.
So far there is no information on the price of the device that will be released in Japan only in a version with 4GB / 64GB.
Its regular version Redmi Note 10 5G had a starting price at $ 199, so the new one is expected Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition to be available in a similar price range.
