The new Redmi K50i runs it MIUI 13 based on Android 12, and Redmi has confirmed that it will support the device with 2 years on software updates (MIUI) and 3 years of security updates from Google.
The device is equipped with Dimensity 8100 SoC by Mediatek and cooling is supported by the Liquid Cool 2.0 consisting of a steam chamber with a total area of 2268 mm² with 7 different layers of graphite.
The Redmi K50i has up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB UFS storage 3.1, while in terms of cameras, it has one at the back main camera at 64MP along with one UltraWide camera at 8MP and one Macro camera at 2MP. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It is powered by one battery at 5080mAh with support for fast charging at 67W, which is capable of charging the battery up to 50% in just 15 minutes and 100% in 46 minutes.

The Redmi k50i becomes available on Phantom Blue, Stealth Black and Quick Silver color, with a price of Rs. 25.999 (~ $ 324 / € 318) for the model with 6 GB + 128 GBwhile the model with 8 GB + 256 GB costs Rs. 28.999 (~ $ 362 / € 355).
The device will be available from stores mi.com, Amazon.in , Mi Home, the offline stores and Croma in India from July 23.
