Sales of the RedMi K50 Game Edition in China even exceeded 80.000 units in its first flash sale.

Μafter much anticipation, the Xiaomi introduced the first smartphone of its series Redmi K50 in China last Wednesday. This time it is interesting that instead of the company presenting us with another of the "standard" variants of the series, such as basic version of the RedMi K50 or Redmi K50 Pro, our company surprised with its release Redmi K50 Gaming Edition.

This was a surprise mainly due to the fact that last year Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition was the last variant of his series Redmi K40 which was revealed, but this time, Xiaomi chose to take the opposite path.

Our device also brought significant upgrades compared to its predecessors. For example, quit MediaTek SoC in favor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and this of course is welcome. The new device also has a much better cooling system than its predecessor and richer features, and the result is that the device immediately became very successful in China in terms of sales.

According to what the company announced in its official Weibo account, the Redmi K50 already had total revenue over 280 million CNY in the first Flash Sale, which translate into almost 45 million before all stocks are exhausted.

If we divide this amount by the average price of the most expensive device, then we will see that the company managed to sell more than 70.000 devices in this first Flash sale made in China. According to what he mentions the GSMArena , taking into account the company's revenue, if everyone bought the more expensive version of the device which has 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, then sold over 70.000 units of Redmi K50 Gaming.
