Redmi K40S: Official with E4 AMOLED screen 6,67 ″ FHD + @ 120Hz, Snapdragon 870 and 48MP camera with OIS

At today's event for the release of his series Redmi K50 in China, the company also presented the Redmi K40S as the successor to last year's Redmi K40.

Η device maintains the E4 AMOLED screen at 6,67 ″ with analysis FHD + and refresh rate at 120Hz, while at the same time it is equipped with 870 Snapdragon SoC, but is also accompanied by an upgraded cooling system with a large steam chamber surface (VC) with area up to 3112 mm².

As the company points out, this powerful cooling system is against 400% larger in area compared to last year Redmi K40, and has the ability to provide the device with the necessary cooling it needs without any delays in its performance even after many hours of heavy use.

The new Redmi K40S has the same sensor IMX582 at 48MP for the main camera with the one who had the Redmi K40, but now adds Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), while the total weight has been reduced by 1 gram and the thickness by 0,1mm.

The device is powered by one battery at 4500mAh with fast charging at 67W compared to the 33W the K40 had, which can charge the battery up to 100% in just 38 minutes.
