Xiaomi today launched a new laptop in the domestic market of China – the redmi book 14
Xiaomi has now introduced the redmi book 14 priced at CNY 3.699 (~$537 / €488), which is powered by the processor 5th Gen Intel Core i12500-12H and combined with memory RAM LPDDR5 5200MT/s at 16GB and internal storage PCIe 4.0 SSD at 512GB. The device also has a second hard drive slot M.2 to expand the storage space.
In terms of design, the Redmi Book 14 has a light and slim design with weight about 1,37 kg in the upcoming years, while thickness at 15,9 mm. It has 2.8K resolution screen with aspect ratio 16:10 which can be opened up to 108 degrees. The display also features a refresh rate of 120Hz and high color gamut sRGB at 100%, while also supporting the Dolby Vision and is certified by TUV Rheinland.
The laptop also has a full-sized three-position backlit keyboard with two built-in speakers that support it Dolby Atmos along with four built-in microphones. There is also one 2-in-1 1080p HD webcam with Ai noise reduction capabilities.
It has doors Thunderbolt 4, has support in NFC and hotspot capability at the touch of a button, while mouse and keyboard sharing, quick headphone connection and fingerprint sensor are some of the additional features offered to its users.
The redmi book 14 powered by a battery at 45Wh, offering its users a decent autonomy and supports the fast charging function via USB type C at 100W, with which users will be able to charge the device in no time.
It is equipped with dual fans at 8mm and in conjunction with the embedded Heat Pipes ensures that the device never heats up while in use or while charging.
Xiaomi's new Redmi Book 14 has been released in China with a price which for a few days will be 3.699 CNY (~ $ 537 / € 488) with a regular list price of CNY 4,599 (~ $ 656 / € 606). Pre-orders have already started in China while sales will start on 23 May.
