Τ2019 is now very close and Qualcomm is preparing its SoC based on the 7nm manufacturing process. So far, information about this new Soc has been scarce, but today something new has been learned - the name 8150, which indicates that the company is trying to change the naming composition once again.
Android 9.0 Pie system files hint at the existence of the new Snapdragon 8150, and now the Bluetooth certification document confirms this. The list mentions the Qualcomm SM8150 that supports Bluetooth 5.0 and it seems that the chip started the certification process only yesterday.
But do not hold your hopes too high, as there are many other steps before the chip is released as a real product. But we hope that this wait will be worth it.
